Le Pincement de Thym is a renovated French Longére Farmhouse set in beautiful rural countryside on the outskirts of the medieval village of Vouvant, in the Vendee, Western France.
Sleeping up to 9 people with a cot available and offering 250 sq.m. of spacious accommodation retaining original exposed beams and stonework. The property has its own ‘Spa Barn’ which houses a 6 person Jacuzzi and 6 person sauna, shower and relaxation area with hifi and surround sound, perfect to pamper yourself after a day out sightseeing. In the lounge we have a large stone open fireplace with a supply of logs, ideal for cosy evenings in the winter with a bottle of wine, you could also roast chestnuts!
The village of Vouvant is one of the ‘Plus Beaux Villages de France’ with a couple of restaurants, cafés and bars, mini market, doctor and pharmacy, boulangerie, post office and tourist information office. The towns of Fontenay Le Comte with its Saturday market and La Chataignerie are just 10 mins away.

Vouvant is well placed to explore south Vendee, situated on the edge of the beautiful Mervent-Vouvant forest. Only 10 minutes from Fontenay le Comte and the Marais Poitevin and 45 minutes from the Puy du Fou, of the most visited attractions in France. The miles of famous sandy beaches are under an hour to the west. La Rochelle and the Ile de Ré always tempt our visitors.
